Group Training Classes
Important Class Requirements
Healthly and Vaccinated
To join our group classes, we request that all dogs have up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, parvo, parainfluenza, hepatitis (known as DA2PP on vet records) and bordetella (also known as Kennel Cough). Please provide us with a copy of your dog’s current vaccination records to ensure compliance.
Comfortable with People and Dogs
To ensure a positive experience for all dogs and their owners, please make sure that your dog is comfortable with other dogs within a 10-foot radius. Excessive barking is not conducive to a group class environment. Moreover, if your dog has a history of barking at dogs on a leash, growling, or biting another dog or person, please contact us about private training.

FAQ’s
What are your health and safety practices?
Health and safety is of upmost importance to us at Pawsitive Peaks. We do everything in our power to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our students.
Puppies must be current on all of their vaccinations, at all times, and provide proof of vaccinations throughout enrollment. This includes DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies.
Puppies must also be free of any parasites.
Any puppy exhibiting a potential health concern will not be allowed to attend class until the problem is resolved. This is in the best interest of the sick puppy and every other student in class, in order to maintain the healthiest environment possible.
Additionally, the environment and equipment is carefully sanitized and disinfected after ever class.
When should I start training my puppy?
At our Puppy Preschool, we cater to the needs of young puppies by providing a safe and supportive environment. We believe that puppies thrive when surrounded by peers of similar ages, as they are less likely to feel overwhelmed behaviorally. Our specially designed classes focus on positive exposures, addressing normal puppy behaviors, and preventing the development of behavior problems. We prioritize exposing puppies to different people, new situations, and other dogs, while also equipping you and your puppy with essential life skills, including housetraining, enrichment activities, effective communication, and important leash walking and recall skills. With Pawsitive Peaks Training and Behavior, we set you and your puppy up for success in all aspects of their development.
What makes your program different?
Our dog training program is always 100% force-free and based on positive reinforcement. Unlike other programs, we never use shock collars, prong collars or choke collars on your beloved pet. Instead, we teach your dog what you want them to do and make those things what your pet wants to do. This way, your furry friend is not only well-behaved, but also enjoys every moment of the training process. It’s a mutually beneficial experience!
My puppy is not fully vaccinated should I wait to expose him?
During the first three months of a puppy’s life, socialization is of utmost importance. This period is crucial since they are more social than fearful, and creating positive associations with people, sounds, animals, stimulation, and new environments will have a lasting impact on their behavior. With maternal immunity, primary vaccination, and proper care, the risk of infection is low. It has been revealed through recent studies that a lack of socialization during this period can lead to behavioral problems in dogs.
