I wanted to help dog owners understand their companions a bit more by providing scientific information on How Dogs Learn. There are many studies showing and proving that these theories apply to dogs and most species.

Scientists have debunked Dominance Theory and proved that dogs do not act out behaviors striving for higher rank and scientists actually observed misleading behaviors from wolves when applying this theory but to this day we now know this theory not only is inappropriate for wolves but also dogs.

I wanted to also add How Dogs Think. Dogs are:-

Amoral (They do not know right from wrong, only safe from unsafe)-

Social (Thats what makes them such great companions)

Opportunistic (Whatever is in it for them)

Self-Centered-

Always learning from their actions-

Chewers (They do not have thumbs so they explore the world with their mouths)

Dogs are not and do not feel because their frontal lateral cortex is too small:-

Malicious – Spiteful – Jealous – Stubborn or act like misbehaving teenagers – They don’t do things out of despite

Start by building an unbreakable bond between you and your dog
